Clean
Use the alcohol solution to clean the outside, screen, and keyboard of the device. Check for any scratches/noticeable blemishes.
Wipe
Order of steps:
- Settings
- General
- Reset
- Erase All Content and Settings
Charge
Charge the device. Make sure to give the charger out with the device.
Check out
In Destiny, check out the device to the student needing the device.
- Login to Destiny
- Click Circulation
- In the checkout tab: Type in the Student's/Staff's name and click Find Patron
- Once they are selected, search for the barcode number of the device
- Click enter and Destiny will check the device out for them
- Click the device's barcode number. This will open up info about the device. Click Add Note to document any scratches and blemishes present on the device during checkout.
- Copy the serial number to assign/change their device in Mosyle
In Mosyle, assign the device to the Student/Staff.
- Login to Mosyle (Device Console)
- Click Management tab
- at the top Click Add a filer
- Search the device using the serial number
- Click on the device and change the Device Type from limbo to (1- 1 Student)or (1-1 user) for a staff member. From the search, tab find the user and hit select (click save). If the user is not there look in the how to add user guide
- Next to School User, set the user by typing in the person's name in the device name section.
- Click "Save"
